WIOA SUCCESS STORIES
Tessa Anglin enrolled in the WIOA program as an Out of School Youth after being incarcerated. Through her own perseverance and supportive services provided through the WIOA training program and Petra Allied Health, she overcame many obstacles. Tessa completed her Veterinary Assistant training at Petra Allied Health on June 21, 2022, and passed her Online Certification Exam.
She also participated in the WIOA Work Experience program and was assigned to Smithers Veterinary Hospital in West Fork. Tessa was hired as a permanent employee after completing the Work Experience program.
