About NWAEDD
The Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District was established in 1967 and subsequently funded in part by Arkansas Act 118 of 1969 based upon an act of Congress in 1965 known as the Public Works and Economic Development Act.
To accomplish the NWAEDD mission, we offer local governments and community-based organizations help in the following areas:
Participating in community and economic development plans
Identification of grant & loan sources for community projects
Bridge to funding and regulatory agencies
Guide for new & existing businesses requiring tax & infrastructure incentives
Preparation of grant and loan applications
