Mark Knepp was ready to embark on a new chapter in his life. First, he would need to overcome several barriers. Mark had a criminal history, was staying in a homeless shelter and lacked transportation. He sought assistance to attend CDL training through WIOA Adult funding.

Mark attended CDL training at 160 Driving Academy in Fayetteville. Mark was provided Uber service to travel to and from training. He also received assistance with his phone so he could use the Uber service. After successfully completing CDL training, Mark was quickly hired by Western Express.

Mark attended Orientation and drove 70 hours over-the-road with a trainer. Now Mark has his own truck and is starting a new career. Mark has achieved so much and had to overcome so many barriers. He has expressed how thankful he is for the assistance that was provided.
