Here is to another WIOA success story that is so inspiring!  Sabrina is a single Mom to three.   She took her first steps to further her career and better the lives of her family back in 2015 when she enrolled in the Business Administration/Emphasis in Management training program through WIOA.  She also applied with Arkansas Rehabilitation Services who assisted her in getting her bachelor’s degree.  Sabrina stayed focused, and she showed great dedication to taking the steps needed to accomplish her goal even when it was not always easy.  Sabrina would budget her financial aid and income taxes to help pay her expenses along the way. She was able to get a work study position at the Ozark Rape Crisis Center and joined the Drug and Alcohol Coalition in 2016.  During the summer of 2017 she began working at the Harrison Jr. High through Ameri Corps Vista. Sabrina graduated from North Arkansas College on December 9, 2017.   She then decided to change her major to Child Development and transfer to AR Tech University. Sabrina was able to get a full-time position in the Life Skills Department at Harrison High School in 2019. She graduated in May 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Child Development.  Sabrina began working on her Master’s in Special Education this summer.
